Look who came back to visit

We had a weekend visitor at the Anderson house. Any guesses?
Well, Garvey the Gorilla came back to visit us. You might remember
reading about him a couple of years ago.
This time he was here as Cross's guest. He was super excited!
Here's a synopsis of our weekend with our stuffed primate friend.

Cross wasted no time in making sure Garvey was wearing orange,
you know so he'd be ready for the OSU game.
Lunch: Cross had pizza, Garvey had a banana. Mmmm
Dinner with a whole "troop" of friends.
We were a crazy crew.
Cross gave Garvey a ride on Bullet after the Pokes scored their touchdowns.
Hanging out watching what turned out to be a horrible game.
Still raising our guns high.
It had been a very sad day for the Cowboy family.
Day #2 started out at Tatum's soccer game.
Brunch at Mimi's Cafe after the game.
Check out this super huge blueberry muffin!
After brunch, we painted our own pottery.
Cross painted a mug so he would have his very own for egg nog
during the holidays.
Day #3 we went to church.
Garvey participated in all activities, lesson time, craft time, snack time, & play time.
Here is Cross & Garvey hanging out with the rest of Cross's primate buddies.
Cross had so much fun with Garvey this weekend. He had been looking forward to his chance to have Garvey since Tatum had him when she was in PreK.
He got a little sad when he realized the weekend was over & Garvey would have to go back to school. It broke my heart & showed me what a sensitive soul our little Cross David is.
Mrs. Westfahl, we'll have Garvey come back any time!
