It's March & everyone knows what that means; St. Patty's Day, beginning of spring, & March Madness! The latter being what Toby's focus will be on. Every year he fills out his bracket, well several brackets, & at least one has OSU taking the whole thing. Well not this year, because the Pokes didn't make it to the big dance, they went to the NIT otherwise known as the Nobody's Interested Tournament. Normally Toby wouldn't really be into going to one of these games but since the Cowboys hosted their first round game & the tickets were only $8, we loaded up the kiddos & headed to Stilly to cheer them on. Our opponents were the Crimson from Harvard. How would a Crimson be translated as a mascot? I don't know either, maybe they're just a little too high faluten to go the oversized costume guy. Anyway, the Pokes dominated the whole game, proving the talking heads of the sports world wrong.
This has to be part of Toby's dream, watching a Pokes game with his son in historical Gallagher-Iba Arena.
(side note: Cross held that hotdog for a whole half, GROSS!)
