Summer time usually brings on a vacation. Our vacation (minus Toby) was to Tennessee to see some family. We stayed in a hotel instead of staying with relatives. This makes it more enjoyable for everyone & way more convenient. The kids love to go to Tennessee & staying in a hotel means swimming & jumping on the bed. (Added bonus, the hotel we always stay in has a great breakfast!) This year Taylor, her friend Kristen, & Colton joined my kids, mom, & me so we were packed in the car like a bunch of sardines.

So, I mentioned that Toby didn't go on vacation with us. Well this is why. While we were visiting family on our trip, Toby, my dad, & brother went to St. Louis for their vacation. All 3 of them are huge Cardinal fans, so they spent their extended weekend watching Cardinal baseball series against the Dodgers & relaxing. Total guy trip, no wives or kids allowed.
