This years small group retreat was held at New Life Ranch in the Ozark foothills. The theme was Rise. Toby & Lane challenged us to rise above mediocrity & to thrive in our relationship with God. I couldn't think of any better place to begin this journey, than in God's creation! We had a great time. Micah Kersh came to lead worship for the weekend (which was awesome)& his family came with him, so we got to spend some time with some of our long lost buddies. The kids loved playing together & going on some "adventures". We went on hikes, jumped in leaves, & looked at all kinds of nature. We spent some time in our cabins (really nice accommodations for a camp) watching movies & talking. The kids got to sleep on bunk beds, which excited Tatum to no end. She always talks about sleeping on the top bunk when Cross gets his. We convinced Cross that his bed was a fort, so he was happy. They are already talking about going again next year.

Aww....We had SOOOOO much fun. We miss you guys and loved spending time with you. It was also super nice to worship together and see students we hadn't seen in a long time. Love ya!
