Pre-K Fun

I just thought I would do an entry to tell a little about what Tatum is doing in school. She is having a blast. We have had a family project, which can be viewed in a previous blog entry, she has been practicing writing her name through a homework packet (she already is questioning why she has homework), she has painted with pudding, & celebrated Johnny Appleseed with some Pre-K Apple Pie. She is having a blast! What we hear about mostly is who she played with at recess & with what, what she had for snack, & of course the best gossip... who got moved from the green light to the yellow or red. Proud to say that she has remained on the green all year so far. Everyday that you remain on green, you receive a sticker when you leave & she has kept all of these in her bring home folder. (We have to count them every day when we place the new one in.)
She has enjoyed going to the library weekly, getting to use the computers, & take part in fun things utilizing the smart board. She is also doing her part as an American. She has learned the Pledge to the American Flag & we now are recycling for a better world. So far, our experience of school has been great. Our first parent/teacher conference went well, her teacher said that she was a joy to have in class.

Yea, Tatum!
