Flight 231- OKC to Houston

For those of you that don't know, Toby is looking for a Jr. High/Worship Pastor.  This search took him to Houston this past week to talk to 2 guys.  Since one of my best friends lives there, the family went with him to have a mini-vaca.  We decided to fly so we would be able to spend more time there.  This was Tatum's second time to fly (the first being when she was 5 months old, so she doesn't remember it) and Cross's first time.  I wasn't really concerned with them being scared, but was more worried about how Cross would do being confined to a lap for about an hour ( I was right, what 2 year old wants to sit still for even 5 minutes let alone an hour?  He wasn't too bad).
Fortunately they both did great.  Tatum was totally into looking out of the window and Cross was into the Sky Mall mag (my personal fav).  Then came the snack service.  Mmmm,  apple juice and honey roasted peanuts.  Tatum had heard of this event and was waiting to give her order.  Of course, with the flight to Houston being so short you start your descent shortly after snack service, so we braced for that.  Tatum jumped with surprise at the first change in level and Cross said, "I don't like it", but after that they both settled in and awaited the Captain's announcement that we were in Houston, the start of our mini vacation.

A little waiting on the plane to arrive snack--grilled cheese from Sonic
Watching the plane pull up.
Walking down the tunnel to board.

Ready for take off!
