A Merry Little Christmas

First of all, sorry this blog is way overdue. Just wanted to share our Christmas with everyone. This year we started our festivities on Christmas Eve.
Here is why we celebrate Christmas & how we start our evening, the Christmas story.
Here the cousins are looking over the banister, waiting to open presents.
Don't worry, we usually don't let them do this, just wanted the photo op.
Tatum sporting one of her gifts from GiGi.
Isn't that cute?
It's a bird, it's a plane, no it's...
SuperCross
thanks to GranGrammy.
Oh yeah, he has sported this at Crosstrainers. Can everyone applaud for me, please.
Reindeer food & Grinch Dust.
We added raisins & grapes to the Reindeer food per Santa's request.
The Grinch food was a Kindergarten thing. If you can't read it, it says that this dust would show that this family had the joy of Christmas in their hearts so the Grinch would stay away.
They took this very seriously!
Christmas morning. I love their faces.
Say what you want about celebrating Santa, my kids know what the true reason for the season is & can still enjoy this part. They'll know Jesus is real not just by our words, but more importantly our actions. They will see Jesus lived out in our EVERY day lives.
Santa came! What a haul.
Sutton loves his stocking & checked it everyday starting from Nov 30th.
Tatum's dollhouse
She really has wanted one of these for a long time.
(Santa found a good deal on it this year)

The Anderson band

Drum solo
I know you think we're crazy, but I look at it this way
the drums can't leave his room & I can close the door,
instant Mommy time!
Toby thought it was really for him.
Christmas night, after Grammy & Grampy's house.
Tatum is sporting the Hello Kitty sleep mask Uncle B's
clan got her.
So cute!

(please don't say anything about our outfits not coordinating, I already know)
Our Christmas season started on Nov 30th with our Kendall day celebration
but this family truely tries to celebrate Christmas all year long.
