Cross really likes the story about David & Goliath. He also likes to play with swords, don't worry they're not real ones. Anyway, Cross always wants Toby to play David & Goliath with him. Toby will yell, "I'll feed you to the birds!", & then Cross will pretend to fling a stone at him with his little sling he made in Sunday school (man it sounds like my kid really likes weapons). Then, as Goliath (a.k.a. Toby) falls to the ground, Cross runs over & grabs his sword to cut off his head. You know, that's the part of the story you don't hear about when you're little. Cross thinks it's great.
So now to Halloween. Cross dressed up as a knight & of course, he had a sword. Suddenly out of nowhere, a large gorilla appeared in the parking lot of the church. Cross with a slightly scared look on his face (he was remembering the encounter with the same gorilla last Halloween which at 2 years of age scared him quite a bit) drew his sword & went to battle. He was protecting his family from the big "Steven" gorilla. And just like David, Cross David was successful. He slayed the giant.
The Battle belongs to the Lord.

Such a good story, but an even cuter photo.
Never heard Toby being accused of being "giant" before...hehehe! Cross is such a cutie! Good going buddy!
