Tatum loves to have tea parties, something that was introduced to her by her Grampy-Grammy. At the end of the last school year I mentioned that maybe sometime this summer we could have some friends over for a tea party. She did not forget me saying this & held me to it. We picked out invitaions, planned our menu, & decorated for what now will most likely be a yearly tradition. Grammy let us use her rose china, so we decorated with shades of pink. Everyone wore pretty dresses & hats and enjoyed an assortment of tea party foods (this to Tatum means little). The lunch started with finger sandwiches, pineapples cut into daisies with a cantaloupe center, chocolate covered strawberries, & cream puffs. The "tea" was pink lemonade, which went very nicely with our decor. After lunch each young lady was given mini-strawberry cupcakes to decorate themselves. The lunch was filled with lots of conversation, giggles, & laughter. It really was quite cute. After the meal, everyone made a picture frame for their tea party picture.
Tatum did a really nice job at being the hostess. It was so fun to have a little girl time!

Thank you for your sweet words. I figure if anyone knows what they're talking about, it's you! As a matter of fact, I've thought about you a lot during the last few weeks and I gained strength from knowing your story and knowing how beautiful your family is.
And yes, my husband is an OSU alum...haha. He likes to play guns to though...:)
