Orr Family Fun

Tatum's first ever field trip was to the Orr Family Farm and Pumpkin Patch.  The whole family got to go and what made it even better was that it was my birthday.  We got to ride a train, see a singing pig, pet farm animals, "milk" a cow, and pick a pumpkin.  We ended our time there learning about the life cycle of a pumpkin and seeing different types of pumpkins and gords.  I'm sure the latter was not the highlight of the trip for most of the students and I really felt sorry for the lady who had to talk to a bunch of hungry and tired 3 year olds.  She did read the story of Spookley the Square Pumpkin which is a cute story.
